MUZAFFARNAGAR: 

A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her 20-year-old neighbour in Sambhalheda village in Muzaffarnagar, the police said today.

SHO Kushalpal Singh said the incident took place on Friday.

According to a complaint by her father, Mohsin entered into their house and took her to another house in the neighbourhood where he raped her.

A case was registered against the accused who was on the run, the SHO said.

A decade of research has identified the presence of 20 chemicals called obesogens in the environment. A look at how some of these chemicals make us fat

Monosodium glutamate (MSG): Popularly called ajinomoto, it is a flavour enhancer and widely used in Chinese food, canned vegetables and processed meat.

How it makes one fat: Affects the hunger pathways involving hypothalamus in the brain. It reduces the release of leptin, a hormone that induces satiety feeling and increases food consumption.

Clozapine: Anti-psychotic drug used to treat schizophrenia.

How it makes one fat: It activates enzymes in hypothalamus which lead to higher food intake. It triggers other metabolic changes as well, leading to weight gain.

Underdogs are constantly battling doubt their entire lives. They’re misjudged and mistreated. They come from severe disadvantages or have suffered heart-wrenching failures. And that’s what makes their success so powerful. Now, there are plenty of famous people who failed. You can find them all throughout history. But there are also modern day business people as well.

#1 — Howard Panes

Howard Panes is the pioneer of the electronic cigarette. He created a company called Logic, which brought the disposable e-cig to the American public.  एल्सासे के स्ट्रासबर्ग में 1518 में एक अजीब तरह की घटना घटी। जिसे डांसिंग प्लेग कहा जाता है। यहां पर लोग कई महीनों तक बिना रूको डांस करते रहे थे। लगातार डांस करने के कारण कुछ लोगों की हार्ट अटैक से मौत हो गई तो कुछ लोगों को हार्ट स्टोक के कारण दुनिया से जाना पड़ा। आजतक इस डांसिंग प्लेग के रहस्य से पर्दा नहीं उठ पाया है। 

2. छेद में आधी नदी का समा जाना

जब आपको कहा जाए कि एक छेद में आधी नदी समा जाती है तो शायद यकीन कर पाना मुश्किल हो जाए। द डेविल्स केटल नाम की नदी में एक छेद है जिसमें नदी का आधा पानी आसानी से समा जाता है। इसका आज तक नहीं पता चला कि आखिर इतना पानी जाता कहा है।

ASTRONOMERS have discovered a  frozen 'super-Earth' orbiting the closest solitary star to the Sun, a breakthrough that could shine light on our planet's nearest planetary neighbours. The potentially rocky planet, known as Barnard's star b, is a 'Super-Earth' and orbits around its host star once every 233 days, said researchers from Queen Mary University of London in the United Kingdom. 

         The findings, published in the journal Nature, show the planet lies at  a distant region from the star known as the snow line. This is well beyond the habit- able zone in which liquid water,  and possibly life, could exist,
researchers said. The planet's surface temperature is estimated to be. STORY around minus 170 degrees Celsius,  meaning it is likely to be a frozen  world which is uninviting to Earth-like life, they said.
         However, it the planet has a | Substantial atmosphere the temperature could be higher and conditions potentially more hospitable. "Barnard's star an infamous object among astronomers and exoplanet scientists, as it was one of the first stars where planets were initially claimed but later proven to be incorrect. Hopefully we got it right this time," said Guillem Anglada Escude from Queen Mary's. Physics ' School of and Astronomy. "if the planet can be observed directly it will pro- vide vital information about its  properties and extend our understanding of the kinds of planets that form around red dwarf stars," researchers said. Barnard's star bis the second closest known expo planet to our Sun. The closest lies just over four light-years from Earth.
                     mhat exoplanet, called Proxima b, orbits around the red dwart star Proxima Centaurl. The researchers used the radial velocity method during the observations that led to the dis- covery of Barnard's star b. This technique detects wob- bless​ in a star which are likely to be caused by the gravitational
pull of an orbiting planet. 

     
This wealth of data provided the extraordinary accuracy  needed to identify the influence of the planet with near  certainty. The wobble observed  in the stars motion corresponds i to speeds of only just over one metre per second--about walking speed. "After a very care full analysis, we are over 99 per cent confident that the planet is there, since this is the model that best fits our observations," said Ignasi Ribas from the Institute of Space Sciences in Spain. "However, we must remain cautious and collect more data to nail the case in the future,"

   These wobbles affect the light  coming from the star. As tarmoves towardsn the  Earth its spectrum appears  slightly shifted towards the blue and, asit moves away, iti shift- ed towards the red. This is the first time that this technique has been used to detect a planet this small so far away from its host star. There searchers re-examined archive data obtained over a 20-year period, and added new observations with the latest generation of instruments.

Union Minister Anand Kumar dies at 59,condolences follow

            In a tragic , senior BJP leader and cabinet minister HN Anand Kumar died on Mondayat 2 in the morning.
he was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment at shankara Hospital in Bengaluru. His wife,Tejaswini, and two daughters were present with him during the last hours.
prime Minister Narendra Modi and president Ram Nath Kovind expressed condolences.
